This was the second time we have stayed in Erica and Hayne’s Brickhouse. We were a family of 8 and 2 fur babies. All were comfortable and loved the extra touches for the dogs. Friday night we all walked to the Grange.
And Saturday we enjoyed walking to the Tailgate Market and coffee at the Laundry. Its easy location is why we especially love this house.
The house is impeccable in its cleanliness and thoughtfulness of little extras. We also enjoyed playing some of the family games there too!

We stayed at The Brickhouse for 3 weeks last year and came back again this year for 3 weeks... it's that good! Erica and Hayne are the best hosts. We had an issue with the cable and WiFi due to a storm and they had us all fixed up within the day. The house is meticulous and a very easy walk to town. The beds are comfy, the sheets and towels are top notch and the kitchen is well appointed. The smart TVs are great (very important to my husband). The fenced in yard with the fire pit area is peaceful and large enough to throw a ball for our pup. Black Mountain is a treasure. There are several VERY good restaurants, breweries and beautiful shops. The locals are so nice and everything is super dog friendly. It's also a close drive to MANY waterfalls, trails, rivers and mountain summits. Flat Creek is a short walk from the house and it's a great place for a stroll and a dip in clean mountain water. I can't think of anything to complain about. We will be going back! Thank you Erica and Hayne!

The house is located in a quiet and peaceful area with great charm that meets all of our needs. Being dog friendly is a bonus and the hosts are personable and communicate well. The home is very clean and provides all of the essentials. We've stayed in the A-frame twice and highly recommend it to others.

This was our second stay at The Brickhouse. We brought my parents with us this time and loved being together in the town that is our mountain haven and has been since my mom was a little girl. Thanks for making our time visiting feel like home. We love the convenience and walkability of everything we enjoy to do in and around town. We can’t wait to visit again soon.
